This is the start of something big

Today marks the day I decided to create this place.

After 15 years of web development, I wanted a place of my own. Somewhere I can talk about myself and my vision of software engineering, share my findings, and post about whatever else I find interesting.

I chose Astro (opens in a new tab) as the main web framework for this project. It’s the first time I’ve used it, and it took me a couple of weeks to learn its main features and set up the project’s core structure. It’s a pretty cool tool. I really enjoy its static, content-driven philosophy.
